Answers to our most frequently asked questions:

Very low to low income qualifies a person or family. All services, including access to the food pantry, are available to qualifying residents of the Lompoc and Santa Ynez Valleys.

We welcome everyone—the only qualification for help is demonstrated need.
Visit our office location at 325 North Second Street.
Fill and complete our enrollment application.
Provide ID, proof of income, and proof of address.
A client resource coordinator will review and verify that qualifications are met.
If your application and information was approved by the client resource coordinator you are set to to receive benefits.

Always bring photo identification, proof of residence and income. These items are necessary.
It’s also good to bring your own grocery bag, if you have one. We have a limited number of grocery bags.

Some food items can be picked up once per week. Please keep in mind our resources are limited and we have a large population to help. As soon as you don’t need help any longer, please allow services to be used by others

Unfortunately, the Food Pantry is run by a small number of staff and volunteers. As a result, we do not have the resources available to provide delivery to our patrons.

If you are bedridden or unable to travel, you may have a family member or friend pick up food on your behalf. You must come in person once to demonstrate need. Pease coordinate in advance.
An alternate pick-up authorization form must be in on file allowing others to pick up food on your behalf.

The Food Pantry is open daily Monday thru Friday, from 10AM to 11:45AM and 12:30PM to 2PM.
We are closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and select Holidays. Visit our Calendar for holiday closures.

You will receive some food items that are available, even if you don't qualify for all services. We can give you details on other programs that can help you with what you need. We are here to help!

The Lompoc Food Pantry is in need of cash donations. Cash donations allow us to purchase the most desperately needed items real time. If you can’t donate money a great way to support our mission is to organize, sponsor, and promote food drives and community outreach.

The Lompoc Food Pantry is in need of cash donations, non-perishable dry food items, and select hygiene products. The list of needed items does fluctuate, based on current donations and season. For a list of our most needed items, visit our Donation page.

We need all types of volunteers. From sorting and stocking shelves to marketing, website design, taking photos, cleaning, and community outreach. We need it all. Visit our Volunteer page to learn more.
